The African Network for Canadian Studies Welcomes Five New Official Ambassadors
The African Network for Canadian Studies (ANCS) has reached a new stage in its development and international influence. Five new ambassadors have recently been appointed to represent the network in their respective countries and promote scientific activities focused on the study of issues common to Canada and Africa. These appointments mark a significant expansion of the network, strengthening its strategic presence on the African continent and in Canada.
Ambassadors at the service of scientific cooperation
The network's five ambassadors were officially selected following the inaugural ANCS conference, in which they played an active role. Their role is essential: they will be responsible for promoting the network's research projects, conferences, publications and other initiatives in their respective countries. They will also help to forge lasting links between African and Canadian researchers around themes of common interest, such as federalism, public policy, environmental issues and international relations.
